The coronavirus outbreak is severely disrupting the global economy.
The novel coronavirus penetrated into India in the beginning of the year & as of now it has already affected 10,374,932 people & killed more than 1,50,000 people.
Impact of Covid-19 has been multiple and not only limited to society at large. From the perspective of the employment both rural and urban have been impacted adversely. Most of the employment sectors like agriculture, health, finance, transportation & the most affected education system have impacted on a very larger scale. Due to the unexpected pandemic, the whole education system suddenly shifted from conventional classrooms to online platforms leading plenty of teachers, educators and instructors to adapt to this new normal.

Secondary Research
The world is facing a shortage of almost 69 million teachers. On the other hand Pandemic is making teachers, who are not technically sound to lose their Jobs. There is lack of motivation in online learning as well as teaching. In addition to that there are a lot of perpetuating difficulties in online teaching tools. One of them would lack of proper knowledge regarding the available facilities. Also it is tedious to teach online; Because the teacher can no longer stand in front of the class & teach. Teaching on a screen, arranging content & not making sure that the students are clearly understanding what has been taught is what blowing away the teacher’s mind.

My concern about unavailability of resources for remote village students, also the very problem of having a single smartphone & more than 1 kid at home.. Students will watch a content only for a duration not exceeding 20 mins thus making the job harder to keep their attention. I hope students will definitely use online classes if the quality and the content is good.

I watch subject related videos on free youtube channels. It consumes double the time while learning the same thing in school and then again watching a youtube video for better understanding. My institute uses different modes for teaching such as website, phone call, chat boxes. This will become difficult for us students to coordinate things between video call, webinars, and whatsapp communication.

I have started teaching online through google meet, zoom. Initially got help from my tech savvy daughters to use these platforms & watched youtube videos in order to learn more. I use PC majority of the time & switch to mobile when network is bad, I use mobile data. My school assisted me to make videos initially and now I’m independently making videos.

I think the online learning can be an option but can never replace the physical learning. No Proper engagement with students. I explored different platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebX. I also tried for UNACADEMY but due to limitation of content didn't get selected. Currently owning a YT Channel, shooting through mobile only & taking some help regarding editing software form a student.

Due to covid, I was laid off amongst 50% of staff. I’m not tech savvy but I love teaching. I’m willing to learn to use digital platforms in order to impart knowledge online.
